Experimental fashion film features Lotus Mandala, a garment serving as a commentary on China's troubled relationship to Tibet. The garment shows a sacred mandala embroidery representing the delicate—wholeness, harmony and peace—which is juxtaposed with the violent and brute through the contextual symbolism of a bomber jacket. The act of distributing paper strips with messages dealing with the universal and the significant from pockets of the garment can be seen as a silent protest, a meditation or a prayer for better times, albeit often overlooked or stepped upon by the passersby.
